Description of Compliance with Accessibility Requirements

Application of Harmonized Standards and Technical Specifications

Our online presence fully complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in version 2.2. It achieves Level A, AA and complies with the standard EN 301 549.

Comment DLA Piper (2025-10-15 11:57):
@ANI: Please check if this is correct. As agreed, we have only reviewed this statement. To what extent the website complies with WCAG version 2.2 or EN 301 549 (which is rather a technical question), we have not checked in detail.

The WCAG are an international standard of accessibility guidelines. They are created and maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the body for standardizing Internet technologies. The aim of the guidelines is to create structures for digital offerings in the sense of digital accessibility that enable access and use for all people.

Supportive Measures

Comment DLA Piper (2025-10-15 10:05):
@ANI: The measures must also be adapted to the current version 2.2.

Reply Harald Eder (2025-10-16 09:35):
@Carmen De La Iglesia @Sandra Heckler there is no section 2.2 in the document.
Therefore, I assume that version 2.2 refers to the version of this document.

Our website provides the following supportive measures:

Perceptibility
Text alternatives for non-text content: Images, graphics, and other non-text elements are provided with descriptive alternative texts (alt texts) so that screen readers and other assistive technologies can convey the visual content.
Content & Products: Alt texts for content elements and product placements are maintained in our content management system.
Sufficient color contrast: We ensure sufficient contrast between text and background.
Customizable display: Users can adjust text size, line spacing, and other visual elements. Content can be enlarged up to 200% without problems.
Colors are not used exclusively: Colors are not the only means to convey information, indicate actions, or distinguish elements.
Information via multiple senses: Important information is available not only visually, but also acoustically (via screen readers) or tactilely (via Braille displays).

Operability
Keyboard navigation: The entire website can be fully navigated using the keyboard.
Users can access all menus, search functions, selection fields, footer content, and product pages.
All interactive elements, including filters, sorting, pagination, and shopping cart functions, are accessible via keyboard.
On first use of keyboard navigation, a link is offered to jump directly to the main content.
Intuitive navigation and orientation: We offer consistent menu navigation and clear headings so users better understand where they are and how to navigate the website.
Controllable movements and animations: Moving or animated content is controllable or can be deactivated.

Understandability
Clear structure: The website is logically structured and easy to navigate.
Meaningful labels: Headings and form elements are clearly labeled.
Descriptive links: Link texts are clearly understandable and describe the target.
Plain text: Content is easy to read and formulated in understandable language, as far as it goes beyond formal legal texts.
Input assistance: Forms support automatic suggestions by browser/system.
Error prevention and correction: Entries can be corrected.
Animations: Only subtle animations – can be deactivated if necessary.
No flashing effects: There is no content that triggers photosensitive reactions.

Robustness

Comment DLA Piper (2025-10-16 07:18):
@ANI: Please check if this is correct.

Technically accessible: The website uses semantically correct HTML. ARIA roles improve screen reader compatibility.
Compatibility with screen readers: The website is designed to be accessible for screen readers, and skip links allow users to jump directly to the relevant part of the page.
