Q&A with Noel Mulkey

What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?

Honestly, the number one thing on my bucket list for me at my age is to travel the world, I can make this happen; I'm confident I can make this happen. I love adventures from bungee jumping to hang gliding.  I am up for just about anything adventurous and new.  If I had to pick one place I would love to see the many of the countries in the Asian Pacific.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

To run like lightening.  Running is really a simple exercise.  You do not need any other equipment other than a good pair of running shoes.  I also like getting outdoors.  Running is fun way to see new spots when you visit new cities or towns.  I just enjoying getting into the running zone.

What’s your favorite workout song?

Here is the thing – I have some favorite songs I listen to prior to the workout but really during the workout I enjoy just getting into a workout trance and concentrate on what I am doing.  I forget everything around me which is really a wonderful sensation. I just like to get rid of all the noise.

Who’s your biggest supporter?

My biggest supporter is my dad.  I have gotten most of inspiration from him.  He has been a huge fan and supporter of many of my athletic endeavors.  At some point in my life a would like to repay him for all that he has done for me.  I guess you could add that to my bucket list.

What’s your go-to PowerBar product?

Honestly, I do not really have favorite.  It is more like a favorite depending on what I am doing.  During racing, I like PowerGel Strawberry Banana. Just about every morning before routine workouts, I eat a ½ banana and a Peanut Butter or Cookie Dough, Power Bar Performance Energy Bar.
