Long Distance Runner
Nick Arciniaga is a long distance runner and has been a PowerBar athlete and ambassador since 2010. Nick began running in high school when it was recommend to him to join the cross country team to train for soccer. Over the past decade, Nick has finished in the Top 10 of the Boston and New York City Marathons a total of four times. Nick has a marathon best of 2:11:30 from the Houston Marathon in 2011, and won the US Marathon Championship in 2013. In addition to his running prowess, Nick is a coach for Team Run Flagstaff, which includes a community of over 300 runners ages 12-89. By giving back to the Flagstaff community, Nick has found a great way to encourage and offer advice to runners of all ages and abilities. In his time away from running, Nick is an accountant for Run Flagstaff and spends time hanging with his wife Carolyn and their dog, Luna.
