Mackenzie is a professional triathlete andcoach in Eugene, Oregon. With multiple 70.3 Ironman podium finishes, she has competed in triathlons for over 17 years. Starting out as a Division I runner in college for Iowa State University, she quickly found her passion in the multisport community. She went from completing one triathlon to becoming immersed in the lifestyle of training and becoming a student of the sport.
Mackenzie is also an accomplished student of the sport. With her Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of Oregon and her Bachelors in Kinesiology and Minor in Coaching from Iowa State University, she is truly one of triathlon’s young and quickly rising competitors. Mackenzie has been able to use her knowledge and physical resources to take her to the next level. Mackenzie’s goal is to continue to learn and share her passion and knowledge of triathlon with other athletes. She hopes she can help others achieve their goals. And of course have a blast along the way.

To win an Ironman as a professional triathlete. I've been so close so many times!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Teleporting! I'm not that big of fan of traveling... and having the option to teleport me and my bike to ride anywhere in the world or train anywhere in the world! Who wouldn't want that!? A reoccurring wish that always goes through my head is to be Harry Potter so I could apparate anywhere ;)

Who’s your biggest supporter?
Roo, my four-legged vizsla furchild. She is always there for me. And is with me on every single run and is always down to do so. She cuddles with me after a hard workout and has even ran a couple races with me.
