Greater Gains

By:Tricia L. Griffin, RD, CSSD
For athletes supplementing with Beta-Alanine involved in stop and go team sports and interval training, greater gains can be expected when performing at high intensity over 30–90 seconds than performing even higher-intensity exercise lasting 15 seconds or less. So scrimmages and actual game play has the edge over sprinting 100 meters.
