Triple Threat was founded in 2007 to empower under-resourced youth to develop confidence, character and life skills. Limited access to extracurricular activities, and a lack of growth opportunities or positive role models leaves under-resourced youth at risk. Triple Threat offers under-resourced youth opportunities in Athletics, Academics and Arts. Innovative programs develop skill sets that lead to self-confidence, supported by mentoring relationships that foster growth and development. Youth are engaged and encouraged to pursue personal goals and develop their individual potential. Critical success factors in impacting youth are difference-making partnerships with businesses, schools, and communities, as well as local volunteerism. Positive, caring role models and leaders, along with funding and resources, all provide program sustainability, define scope, and determine impact.
