For people living with diabetes, it is important to follow the dietary exchanges as outlined by the American Diabetes Association and the American Dietetic Association, and/or the meal plan outlined by your health care provider. Since sugar alcohols provide about one half the amount of carbohydrate compared to sugar, carbohydrate exchange values are calculated by dividing sugar alcohols in half then subtracting the remaining balance from the total carbohydrate value. I have food allergies. Can I eat PowerBar ProteinPlus® Reduced Sugar protein bars?

If you are allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, or wheat, you should not eat PowerBar ProteinPlus® Reduced Sugar protein bars.

Is PowerBar ProteinPlus® Reduced Sugar protein bar all natural?

The ingredients in PowerBar ProteinPlus® Reduced Sugar protein bar are not all natural. It does contain Sucralose, an artificial sweetener (to minimize sugar levels), and therefore is not considered “all natural.” However, there are no artificial flavors, or preservatives in any of the bars. How should I store PowerBar ProteinPlus® Reduced Sugar protein bar?

For the best eating experience, PowerBar ProteinPlus® Reduced Sugar protein bars should be kept between 40–80° F to prevent the chocolate coating from melting. No need to refrigerate.
