Goals
We all have goals. Right? Well, I have decided that I want to take my triathlons to the next level. Currently I am an age grouper. There are a lot of people who would be happy with what I have achieved. Please do not get me wrong, I am very happy with all of my achievements! Powerbar Team Elite is a big one that makes my smile every time I think about all the support they have given me! I do not want to be an age grouper any more. I want to become a professional triathlete. There, I said it! I have not said it in a public forum yet, this is the first time. I have told friends here and there, hired a coach, but I have not publically announced my goal of becoming a professional triathlete. My plan is to continue teaching high school this year and focus on each of the three disciplines of triathlons all fall and winter. Next summer, 2012, I will do a few critical races that will show me how I rank amoung my competitors and how much I have grown as an athlete. I am very excited about this! I have been working with Chris Bagg as my coach, he is a strong athlete and great coach! I will keep you updated on my progress towards this goal. Although it is a high one, I know I will achieve it!
