Excited to join the team!
Hi, everyone! I'm really excited to be a part of PowerBar's Team Elite program for 2010 and 2011. I'm a big fan of the product (especially the Gel Blasts!), and that was a big reason for my application this year. More importantly, I applaud PowerBar for recognizing amateur (and pro) athletes that strive to excel in their sport while also giving back to the community. I look forward to continuing work with C-Different (www.cdifferent.org) and being a guide for visually-impaired athletes. In the meantime, I'm hoping that just maybe I'll get a Kona or Clearwater slot this year. :) I also look forward to maintaining a consistent blog. Next race is the Magellan Development Half-Marathon in May. I'm working to get up to speed after a few setbacks this winter, but my run is looking a lot stronger than last year. Cheers, Krysten
