Turkey Trot, and B2B
Happy Thanksgiving. That means eating until you can't bend, lots of good company, taking a moment to be thankful for the good things in our lives, and the Turkey Trot. For me that means a run to give back to the community, and a way to justify everything I'm going to eat in a few hours. It is also a way to see a lot of people from town, and wish them a happy holiday. Our local turkey trot benefits a local organization that helps families in need all through the year. What a great way to start off the holiday season.Beach 2 Battleship race is in the books. 12 hours 53 min. I was pleased with my race. I am going to work on my marathon after the bike though. I feel I could shave another 45 min off there. The weather was perfect, and having my wife there to cheer me on was an added bonus. I am looking forward to a bit of down time for the off season, and then time to prep for next year.Have a great day.
