Running To And From Work
During the week of October 24th I started running to and from work. I did this twice this week - on Tuesday and Thursday. During the summer months I bike to and from work on Tuesday and Thursday so I figured I should try running, instead. The "run commute" required a bit more planning than the "bike commute", but I had fun with it. The extra planning means that I must bring all my clothes and food (breakfast and lunch) to the office the day before the run. Having PowerBars at the office has made both bike and run commuting to work much easier. So it is really not that difficult. Now that I've done it, I wish I would have done it sooner. It is such a great use of my time. Hopefully I will be a good example for others to give it a try. It always feels great to get somewhere under my own power and help preserve the environment.
