Step 1 - Energize

Before Training
The physical benefits of endurance training will be greater and your performance during a competition will be better, if you start with your muscles fully fueled. During endurance exercise you rely on both fat and carbohydrate as fuel sources. The greater the intensity of the exercise, the more you rely on carbs as the fuel source.
